Често ни питат защо организираме ски лагер в Пампорово в седмицата след, а не по време на междусрочната ваканция. И е логично този период да е по-удобен за семействата от гледна точка на ангажимента на родителя към детето. Ние обаче имаме друг поглед върху нещата и той е свързан единствено с

интересите на детето.

А те включват три основни момента, посочени от нашите професионални ски инструктори :

• умения
• време
• безопасност

На първо място – умения

Какво очакваме да прави детето ни по време ски лагер? Да кара ски, разбира се. 

Да подобрява уменията си.

Да се научи, ако му е за пръв път. И да си подобрява техниката на каране, ако е напреднал.

В междусрочната ваканция това е, ако не невъзможно, то изключително трудно. Това е един от най-натоварените периоди в курорта Пампорово, когато всеки метър от пистата е зает. При такава натовареност и трафик на хора за децата е предизвикателство да се съсредоточат в упражненията, които показва инструкторът. Има редица разсейващи фактори като прелитащи пишман скиори например.

Второ място – време

При нормална натовареност на ски курорта, за 4 часа обучение, успяваме да ползваме 4 пъти лифта с начинаещи и до 8 пъти с напредналите. Съответно правим

8 спускания с напредналите

и 4, понякога 5 спускания с начинаещите. В междусрочната ваканция тази цифра спада наполовина. 4-5 с напредналите и 3, понякога дори само 2 спускания с начинаещите.

Защо ли? Защото опашките за качване на лифта за невъобразими. Много чакане, блъскане и нерви, докато успеем да си качим децата на лифта. И борба с още безразсъдници, които на всяка цена са решили да се качат, да ти минат през ските дори, само и само да се доберат по-бързо до лифта. Опашките изнервят всички – и персонал, и клиенти и се получава една напрегната атмосфера, която не е най-благоприятна за провеждане на обучение на деца.

Трето място – безопасност

Два пъти вече споменах за типа скиори, които колегите наричат “самоубийци”. Това са онези хора, възрастни при това, решили да се пробват

на ски без опит и без инструктор.

Те стъпват върху ските и се устремяват напред, без да могат да завият и да управляват движенията си по какъвто и да е начин. Опасни са за себе си, но най-лошото е, че са опасни и за околните. И особено за децата.

Броят на тези хора в междусрочната ваканция се увеличава многократно. Увеличава се и опасността подобни “комети” да връхлетят върху групата ни, упражняваща се мирно в единия край на пистата.

Всеки скиор, независимо начинаещ или напреднал, на пистата трябва да спазва следните елементарни, но задължителни правила:

• Задният скиор пази предния, тъй като го вижда и може да избегне сблъсък с него.
• Ски учители и ученици са с предимство.
• Начинаещите са с предимство.
