The official opening of the season is planned for December 15, and the lift tickets are offered at a symbolic price of BGN 5 (can be purchased at the ski resort) for an adult and a child. Promotional prices for lift tickets “Select” include a one-day ticket at a price of BGN 82 for an adult, BGN 65 for youth up to 17 years old and BGN 49 for children up to 12 years old. These prices are valid until December 14th and then can be purchased at the regular price only.
The first tourists are here
The ski resort already fulfills part of its capacities, welcoming guests mainly from Bulgaria, but also more and more tourists from the neighboring Balkan countries(Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Romania), as well as people from Britain, Ireland and Turkey. According to the statements of the hoteliers, the reservations this season started earlier than usual, which itself is a good indicator of a successful start of the season. The predictions are that within two to three weeks all available spots for the season will be filled.
Snow cover of 40+ centimeters
On the top of Snezhanka peak, as well as on Studenets, there is already a snow cover of 40+ centimeters after the last snowfalls. The new six-seater lift will be put into use, as well as the renovated southern ski area, and the construction of the children’s ski park at the Malina ski center is also expected.
