With the snowy days just around the corner, Pamporovo is looking forward to the opening of the ski season around December 15-16, according to the statements of the executive director of Pamporovo AD, Mariyan Belyakov. A new six-seater lift, a new children’s snow park, a renewed southern ski area and improvements in the artificial snowmaking systems are just some of the novelties that the new season brings in Pamporovo.
New six-seater lift
The new six-seater lift from “Malina” to Snezhanka Peak, with a capacity of 3,000 skiers per hour, will contribute to greater comfort for guests and reduce queues in front of the lift stations. The innovative drive technology promises a faster and more pleasant ascent to the top.
Tourists have the opportunity to purchase seasonal or one-day Select lift tickets at special prices in advance sale until December 14th. Promotional prices for lift tickets include a one-day ticket at a price of BGN 82 for an adult, BGN 65 for youth up to 17 years old and BGN 49 for children up to 12 years old.
New kids snow park
The winter season promises unforgettable moments for the little ones at Malina Ski Center. The new ski trail, tubing slide, twisty courses and fun obstacles are just some of the emotions that will await the little ones. All this combined with the enthusiasm and warmth of the teaching animators ensures that children will not only learn skiing skills, but also create special memories and friendships in the world of winter passions.

Snowboard World Cup (January 20-21)
The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has confirmed the calendars for the World Cup for the 2023/2024 season, in which Pamporovo is also taking part of. For the first time, the ski resort will host World Cup competitions, namely two parallel slalom snowboard starts on January 20 and 21, 2024. The brightest star in Bulgarian snowboarding, Radoslav Yankov, is also expected to take part in the competition
